Abstract

The procedural rules governing administrative courts are of paramount importance, as they are the means by which the substantive rules of law are correctly applied. In doing so, they strive to achieve the public interest by regulating the judicial system, which provides guarantees for individual rights and freedoms. However, these procedures remain bound by the general rules contained in the Code of Civil Procedure. This makes the issue of extending a request by the Moroccan administrative judge raise a number of problems concerning the relationship between the restrictive legal text and the principle of classifying the administrative dispute by the Moroccan administrative judge, given the specific nature of administrative litigation.
